Getting Here

Sointula is located off the northeast tip of Vancouver Island about a 4 hour drive from Nanaimo, BC and 6 hours from Victoria, BC then just a 20 min ride on the ferry from Port McNeill, BC.

By Car
Drive north on Highway 19 or (19A runs along the water slower but very scenic) from Victoria or Nanaimo to Campbell River where you start the scenic drive up the North Island Highway. Driving time is about 2 1/2 - 3hrs from Campbell River to Port McNeill, were you can catch the Ferry to Sointula.

The Ferry
The Ferry service runs continuously between Port McNeill, Sointula and Alert Bay - 7 days a week. The Ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island leaves daily every few hours from T sawwassen or Horseshoe Bay.
