Bere Road Guest House

Our three bedroom, one bath cottage is well suited for families. Located in Rough Bay, 1/2 block from the beach, a short walk to the marina, on the road to Bere Point Park.

Harmony Shores Campground

A three-kilometre drive along Kaleva Road. Enjoy our large, private oceanside campground. All the sites include fire pits and picnic tables. There are hot showers, toilets and running water available.

Jan’s Place

Oceanview accommodation five minutes from ferry. Open design, full kitchen & bathroom, queen, double & single beds, sleeps five. WiFi & Satellite TV. No smokers or pets please.

Midden Lane Suite

Private waterfront suite with kitchen, bath, beach. Children and pets welcome. Covered porch for smokers. Self serve organic breakfast. Excellent fishing, and launching for small boats and kayaks. Aromatherapy, massage available.

Nanshands AirB&B/Giftshop

Small cottage with kitchenette, one bathroom, double bed and a fold-out couch, comfortable sitting area and semi-private patio. Adults only. Sorry, no pets. Nanshands Giftshop offers soaps, socks, art cards, blankets, wooden tables & trays.

The Oceanfront Hotel

Located in the heart of Sointula, adjacent to the ferry & close to the museum. Quiet, south-facing, beachfront rooms & suites with oceanfront decks. Some pet-friendly and wheelchair-accessible rooms. Cold beer and wine off-sales. ATM on site. Ice for sale.  Whale watching and fishing charters arranged. Rates for extended stays. Local art for sale in the lobby.

Orca Lodge

Circa 1915 boathouse. Relax with nature on the waterfront. Two deluxe self-contained suites, one studio room with private deck. Fishing charters arranged, group retreats, hiking, beachcombing.

Charming 1930’s beach front cottage with spectacular views. Two bedrooms (queen & two single beds). Loft available on request. Fully equipped kitchen with separate living room. Walk to town and the harbour. Wifi available.

Art for the Soul

Jan Rosgen’s artwork focuses on Malcolm Island scenes.
There is a wide variety of framed & unframed paintings, prints, artcards, & colouring books, plus the book “You ARE an Artist!” for your own inspirations.

Karsten Construction

Karsten Construction is a small firm that has extensive experience in all aspects of the building process, from planning to finish. We have shipped log and timber frame houses to Switzerland and Vancouver Island. Our preference is to use local resources such as Western Red Cedar, Douglas-Fir, and Sitka Spruce. However, we also have been using innovative technologies such as : SIPS, ICFs, and laser instrumentation throughout the past 20 years.

The Burger Barn

At the Marina. Sointula’s oldest and most famous eatery.
Great food, good people, amazing view! Burgers, fresh fish and chips, delicious milkshakes and so much more. Lunch and dinner 7 days a week all summer long. Check us out on Facebook for our menu and hours.

Coho Joe Cafe

Delicious breakfast and lunch. Homemade baking daily, great coffee and espresso drinks. Charming B&B available above the café. Open 7 days in summer, closed Monday, Tuesday in the off season.

Be sure to see the Sturgeon 1, an historic wooden gillnet fishing boat built in Sointula and situated at the marina, 2 km north along 1 st Street.
